Summoning
You can find this function in the Player Menu. This menu can be opened, for example, via the quickbar on the left side of the GUI (found in the DSA Eye Menu).
To summon creatures, follow these steps:
- Make sure an actor is active in the Player Menu. If none or the wrong one is active, drag the correct actor to the Player Menu via drag & drop. You may need to drag the link symbol on the character sheet next to the name.
- Drag and drop the creature to be summoned as a template to the Player Menu (e.g., via the link symbol next to the name on the creature’s sheet). You may need permission from the Game Master for this creature.
- The tool automatically applies the rules for the respective creature. You may need additional modules to use rules for certain categories (e.g., spirits).
- It also recognizes the necessary abilities for summoning the respective creature category and displays them to you.
- Select extensions and creature abilities
- You can now adjust the modifiers if needed.
- Roll the summoning check to determine the QL available for adjustments and services.
- As the final step, click on Finalize. The Game Master now receives a popup and must confirm the summoning with all settings.
- Once confirmed, a corresponding confirmation appears in the chat. From there, the creature can be dragged and dropped onto the battlefield.
