Herbalism
This function requires the Herbarium I module and is only available to the Game Master.
You can find this function via the module’s macro compendium or via the GM hotbar.
Follow these steps to start a plant search:
- Open the function, for example by clicking on the corresponding icon in the GM hotbar.
- You can now choose whether to start a general search or whether the players are searching for a specific plant in the region.
- Set all appropriate modifiers.
- The options 1, 2, 3 next to the region allow you to set the detail level of the region modifiers.
- The “Conceal Details” checkbox prevents players from immediately knowing all details of the plant after finding it. See also Item Concealment.
- You can also specify the plant to search for by dragging it from the library onto the plant search window.
- After clicking “OK”, the corresponding process is performed in the chat. Follow the instructions in the chat.
- On success, players receive what they were looking for at the end and can drag it from the chat card to their character sheet via drag & drop (or the Game Master places it on the battlefield).
- On failure, players have wasted their time.
